Hello and welcome to the official online home of the Bensley-Bermuda Volunteer Rescue Squad, Inc.! As President of the Squad, I extend to you a warm welcome and invite you to enjoy the information we have gathered about our Squad.

Established in 1954 and today serving more than 60,000 residents of Chesterfield County, Virginia, BBVRS is an all-volunteer agency dedicated to providing outstanding emergency medical care to the sick and injured. The more than 120 members who make up the Squad dedicate their time, energy and effort to making the community a better, safer place, and the generous citizens of the County donate many tens of thousands of dollars to help us continue to operate our free service. Our Junior Squad supports and nurtures those members between 16 and 21 years of age, educating them about the effort needed to successfully work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, and our Auxiliary supports the Squad with fundraising and vital support activities. I sincerely thank all these groups - members and donors - for without vigorous contributions from both, this Squad would not exist!
